Welcome to 7^th grade Social Studies.  This class explores Asia, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. 

Students are required to have a 1 inch-3 ring binder (notebook) with notebook paper used only for Social Studies. 

Students will be graded on class assignments, notebooks, class participation, and tests.  All tests will count twice toward students 9 weeks final grade. 

Seventh Grade Discipline Plan

In order to provide our students with the excellent educational climate they deserve, we have developed the following classroom discipline plan. These rules will be in effect in all classrooms at all times.

Rules:

1. Behave in a manner appropriate for the classroom.

2. Follow directions the first time they are given.

3. Be on time and prepared with materials and homework

    when the tardy bell rings.

4. Respect the rights and property of others.

5. All behavior should allow the teacher to teach and every

    student to learn.

Consequences:

Warning: one per week

1^st Check: 1 day of silent lunch

2^nd Check: 2 days of silent lunch

3^rd Check: 5 days of silent lunch

4^th Check:  More silent lunch

5^th Check: More silent lunch

6^th Check: OFFICE

All other checks: automatic OFFICE referrals

*Severe misbehavior will result in immediate removal from the classroom and referral to the office!
